Expressions of Interest (EOIs)

Editors Wanted

We’re looking for two people to accompany Lauren Saunders and Jill Howitt on the Editorial Panel for this flagship edition of The Critical Fish. We are asking for an Expression of Interest from interested parties by Wednesday 23 Janaury 2019 before midnight

Successful applicants will be informed within the week and will be expected to begin within the first week or so of February. These Co-Editors will be given a contribution of £125 each for their time.

These Co-Editors will each be expected to:
– read their ‘caseload’ of submitted articles and prepare a short report to present to the Panel
– discuss and curate the selected articles with the Panel
– work with writers over email/telephone/person (whichever is most appropriate) to ensure their articles are of high quality and print ready
– attend approximately 3-4 meetings with the rest of the Panel in the Hull area between early Feb – early March 2019 (anticipated)
– work independently in managing their tasks and working with writers

If you are interested in this role, please send an email to hello@thecriticalfish.co.uk outlining a little bit about who you are, your specialist areas of interest/knowledge, your experience with this sort of thing and why you think you’d be a good addition on the panel. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
